Who exactly are the Three Bad Stitches:
The three “stitches” are Hope, Miranda, and Savannah. A mother and daughter team. We were raised in a family full of crafty women including quilters, embroiders, wood workers, seamstresses, and the list goes on. The skills we developed watching these amazing women as we grew coupled with the inherited Appalachian ingenuity has made us addicted to making. We’ve been crocheting for over 25 years each and Savannah taught herself to knit around 15 years ago. Miranda and Hope have self taught themselves into being vinyl wizards. There isn’t a medium we aren’t willing to try, or challenge we aren’t willing to accept.
Things we love: Family, Pets, Food, Mountains, Birthdays, and creating.
Why the gemstones in the logo: The gemstones stand for each on of use, signifying our birth months. We know all to well that pregnancy and delivery aren’t always text book so we celebrate birthdays often and with tons of gusto!
Our Services:
We pride ourselves in making crochet, knitted, and sewn items with a quirky twist. We love color!
We also want to be helpful to so many that have special items that need a little mending or love. If you have an afghan/blanket that has a hole that needs mending, or a stuffed animal that has been loved just a little too much, or a loved ones dress that you would like made into a pillow, or any other special idea you have please reach out. We would love to discuss options and how we may be able to help your special idea come to life.
Pay it forward:
The Hope Collection.
Hope is defined as a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen. Three Bad Stitches has many expectations and desires for many causes. In an attempt to help those causes get some funding we made the Hope Collection.
Each item listed in the Hope Collection will have its own special purpose. The description will have an explanation of the cause we are interested in, the percentage of proceeds that will be donated, and the organization the donation will be made to.
